Credit card disputes can be useful for unauthorized charges, billing errors, non-delivery, failed refunds, and subscription problems. The issuer will still need a clear reason and evidence.

Common dispute types
- Unauthorized charge.
- Duplicate or wrong amount.
- Goods or services not received.
- Refund promised but not received.
- Subscription charged after cancellation.
- Product materially different from what was promised.
Evidence to prepare
- Statement line with merchant descriptor, date, and amount.
- Receipt, order confirmation, contract, or service agreement.
- Merchant contact attempts and written responses.
- Return/refund/cancellation proof.
- Tracking, delivery, photos, or service records.
